MK & London Job Shows and National Apprenticeship Shows

JS Media and NAS Media are two websites owned by the same company. When the business approached Bubble it was just starting up.
The plan for JS Media was to build it up to be the UK’s foremost organiser of careers, recruitment and training events. Whilst NAS Media was to focus specifically on National Apprenticeship Shows.

The Brief

JS Media approached Bubble to design two new websites for the individual approaches described above.

It was important in both cases that new events, roadshows, and exhibitions could be set up quickly and easily. This involved duplicating a microsite and then enabling it to work independently but be updateable through the main website portal. So, for example, NAS now have 7 areas from London to Manchester that hold shows. Each time a new area is added, the microsite structure is duplicated and skinned appropriately.

The Solution

We listened. We questioned. We discussed. And then we really got creative.

Our solution:

  • Clean and uncluttered design for both websites, and all subsequently duplicated microsites.
  • Simple, easy to use navigation across all sites.
  • WordPress used as the foundation for both websites.
  • Additional functionality as described below, tailored to each site.

Features

Benefits

Feature rich WordPress websites designed to promote each brand, including the WordPress content management system. Striking websites, with an easy to use content management system to facilitate regular updates.
Responsive website design for each site. Web pages automatically adapt how they display according to the screen size and settings of the device a user is using. This keeps Google happy, and makes it easy for a web visitor to use the site.
Job Show websites: Exhibitor listing facility for each microsite via an exhibitor portal. Exhibitors are able to submit their information and job vacancies that will then display on the relevant job show microsite.
NAS websites: Attendee registration facility. Attendees can register as individuals or groups.
NAS websites: Seminar and workshops listing facility per microsite. Easy to use facility that enables NAS Media to upload details of seminars and workshops for each show.
